Hugh Morgan
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Hugh completed a Bachelors of Science (Anatomy & Physiology) and Post Graduate Masters in Medical Radiations – Nuclear Medicine, at Monash University.
Highly regarded for his clinical expertise, Hugh brings to MTIC team, leadership, extensive knowledge and experience in PET/CT, PRRT, PSMA therapy, advanced diagnostic procedures and novel radionuclide therapy treatments.
He has 13 years experience as a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist at the Peter Mac Callum Cancer Centre. As a Clinical Educator, he was responsible for assessing competency and upskilling staff, training new staff and maintaining the Intern/student portfolio. During his time at Peter Mac, Hugh hosted and assessed over 150 students and interns, always striving to inspire, encourage and support. He is passionate about advancing oncology practices and treatments to the benefit of patients and their families so that they may receive the most appropriate and highest quality care.
Hugh is excited to see research brought to clinical use at MTIC by helping to develop optimal imaging and delivery of therapy to patients. He is also keen to participate in research and push the Quadra to its limits!
